A 4K drone lets us look closely at tiles, ridges, hips, valleys, flashing, chimney details and flat roof surfaces, which is particularly useful on high, steep or fragile roofs where access is limited. That gives us a better basis for deciding what needs attention and whether anyone needs to go up. A drone inspection is visual, so anything hidden beneath the covering may still need a hands-on check.

What is a drone roof inspection?
A drone roof inspection, sometimes called a drone roof survey, is a visual check of the roof from the air. We fly a 4K camera drone over the property and look closely at the visible roof areas that are difficult to assess from ground level.
How much does a drone roof inspection cost?
Most standard residential inspections cost £250 + VAT. Larger or more complex roofs are quoted individually. Send the property address and what you want checked and we will confirm the price before booking. Roofing repair and installation quotations remain free.
What can a 4K drone inspection show?
Slipped, cracked or missing tiles, damaged ridge and hip details, worn flashing, blocked or damaged valleys, visible chimney defects and the exposed surface of a flat roof. It cannot see beneath the covering, so concealed defects may still need closer investigation.
Can a drone inspection replace going up on the roof?
Not in every case. It lets us assess visible roof areas from above, especially where access is difficult. If something needs touching, lifting or checking beneath the covering to confirm the cause, we will tell you that a hands-on inspection is needed.
Is a drone inspection suitable for my property?
